Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

First, if you need the 5 hours now, go in to eCrew and request a 5 hour withdrawal out of your bank, you can draw it down to -30 hours anytime.
The reason that last month did not automatically put money in the bank may be that some of what you did may have been "pay no credit items." I have noticed that some things like IA's, or GS pay that way. You can check your time card page to see this, it will have a column for credit, and a column for pay.
Another thing to remember, is that your bank is in hours, and not dollars. If you draw out hours now you will be paid at your current rate, but if you change to a higher paying position you will be paying yourself back at a higher rate. Not sure what side of the merger brought you here, but this is a subtle difference from the fNWA bank system.

One more question and I'll go back to just reading the posts: Since they have already deducted my 5 hrs for July on my July Time Card, if I were to pick up a 3 day worth 16 hrs, will that go into the bank as well or is the deduction capped at 5 per month? Thanks, the contract just says the 5 hrs comes out automatically above 80, but i dont know where it stopps. After the July deduction my Bank will be at -9 hours. Last month I White Slipped a 5 day but they bought it from me for some reason so maybe thats why i didn't see the deduction.
Thanks again for yall's help.

Ever since my indoc and a head of network planning mentioned they've had problems with internal leaks of network data and plans to airliners.net, I've found it to be a good place to troll for data. Actually, I just read the thread starter before the ms flight sim jockeys and basement dweller start to chime in, but here:
With the schedule load of 19JUN, DL has placed the 747-400 back on LAX-NRT eff 31OCT, as well as placing the 747-400 back on NRT-PVG and NRT-HKG up from A332 and A333, respectively.
Given these new route additions to the fleet, this represents the highest utilization of the 747-400 fleet since the merger between NW and DL. For those of you that were hoping for ATL-GRU, ATL-HNL, or any other such routes, right now it looks like it's not going to be in the cards. For the fall, the 744 schedule, for now, appears as such:
JFK-NRT
DTW-NRT
DTW-NGO
DTW-HND
MSP-NRT
LAX-NRT
LAX-HND
NRT-HKG
NRT-MNL
NRT-PVG
NRT-HNL
NGO-MNL
Given this scheduling, DL will be using close to all 16 ships in active rotation - the highest it's been since the merger. Currently, only about 11-12 ships are used in active rotation with several sitting has ready spares around the system.

T's disposition may be a bit .... well , harsh,...but, I take exception to the above.
Our meals are a contractually negotiated item. Not up for discussion whether we get fed or not. $$ were given up somewhere to get them. It's absolutely NOT up to the F/A's whether they are going to feed us or not. It happens to be their job if the flight meets the criteria.
Secondly, a "P** break" is a safety of flight issue. If I need to come out, I'm comin' out. End of story. Of course I don't abuse it and 99% of the time, do it on the normal break-swap-out. But domestic or international, it is absolutely NOT up to the cabin crew when I'm goin' to the head.

For Ferd's sake, lets play the stereotype game. There seems to be a big difference between FA's between all of the bases because not only is it different bases but it is different airlines (Pan Am, Western). So throw out the stereotypes even though we all know there are exceptions to the rules both good and bad, heck, if you want to say you thought XYZ FA's would be bad but turned out good then you can post it... weenie.
It'd be good for us all, otherwise us DALS guys are going to look at all NWA FA's and assume their one group when in reality, you guys know that the differences.
We'll start with Waves, what do you think of FA's at your base?![Big Grin](https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
What else are we going to do tonight?
Okay, putting out stereotypes are wrong, just like being a racist is wrong, unless you make it funny and end with a "its funny because its racist" like this SNL skit on the "The Office" from Japan:
Hulu - Saturday Night Live: Digital Short: The Japanese Office
Just trying.

Dude, no one said it was. I thought ya'll were like some sort of southern family....For Gawds sake, just pick up the interphone and ask, or have the CA brief his expectations from the start...............man I can't believe this even rises to a thread.................................................. ......

Oh mighty leftseatedness.....they are not there to wait on you. Need something? Pick up the interphone and ask!
And not your problem? Gimme a break. Due to the limited IT of DAL, they require the pilots to put their employee number in so that they can get paid what they rate, and you say not my problem?
Let me guess....you're on your second wife?

I've heard they use the "Hula Hoop Test" to assign FAs to bases. They drop a hula hoop over each prospective FA applicant's head, and where it stops they get assigned as such:
-If it stops on their hair - ATL/MEM
-If it stops on their shoulders - DTW
-If it stops on their chest - LAX
-If it stops on their bum - MSP/CVG
-If it drops to the ground - JFK

Now what if it gets stuck on their mouth?

After a long weekend in the yard, I've been working on catching up.... ftb: I'm astounded at the sheer talent that big bird has with that box of crayons. That looked like one heck of a cruise.

NERD: I'm proud of you not wasting gas and money. The company will be sure to add some of that you saved to your next paycheck, I promise. Seriously though, this is going to be a big cultural change but it only takes a just a small amount of effort.
