The question I guess is are you trying to take over STL or just squeeze SWA for the hell of it? If it's squeeze SWA then bring in the 9 and 89 from MEM and ATL and fight em'. If its to do it right then bring in rjs and whatever plane fits the mission. Remember, as awful as rjs are to ride in and high casms, they do give you the opportunity to tap a market and over charge until someone else comes in then you need a competitive aircraft.

I'm just thinking about travel time. I could make a game in Tallahassee.. but Austin is too much of a hike. The sad thing about all of this is that rivalries are going to be redefined... again. at least from an OLD UT guy.. it still pains me to see Bama on top... a much more deep seeded rivalry.. but I'd still pull for them over you-know-who.... Actually, if Tennessee and Va Tech could meet each year at the Bristol Motor Speedway, it would be a pretty big party with over 250K at the game... NASCAR? THIS weekend? uh uh... ain't happenin' redneck!

I'm just thinking about travel time. I could make a game in Tallahassee.. but Austin is too much of a hike. T, ESPN reporting that the NCAA will announce the expected sanctions at 3pm and that it will be the 2 year ban, scholarship strip and vacating wins from at least 2004.
Will Auburn now be the 2004 national champions? That depends on the BCS and the BCS said they'd fall in line with the NCAA and supposedly the national championship trophy will be stripped from USC and removed from their campus. We could be without a 2004 NC. They also say the Heisman Trophy could be vacated for 2004 and no winner, because Vince Young said he wants no part as in winning it retroactively. Reggie Bush has apologized to USC and the fans.
Now, can they strip Matt Leinharts Heisman Trophy for having been, and still being, a total tool.

Probably the lowest CASM way to do it is to dump some 125 seat lift into the market. Maybe run the DC-9-40s if you can't spare the -50s or the 319s.
And you wouldn't want to blanket STL, you would only want to skim the cream. Pick the 8-10 highest RASM markets and dump your lift there. Leave SWA with the loss leaders. Do to them what they've been doing to others for years.

After some time away, I had to read back a bit (some 80 pages, go figure) and I came away with one observation. Has anyone else noticed that the two guys exchanging barbs as of late have two totally and diametrically opposed avatars as anyone could get?
Reagan with that stupid hat (buzz) and Murray with that stupid grin (carl). Can you imagine what a conversation between those two guys would have been like? No wonder today those two views clash on this board! I think it is hilarious because when I see these two trade barbs here, all I see in my mind is a SNL skit! (I do not know either of these two fine gentleman and mean no disrespect) But I cant be the oly one here that finds it funny...
Anyway back to my beer!

Agree with this. You can't run RJs against LUV. DCI doesn't have the product, the consistency or the CASM to do it right.
