The thing about STL, and Nu's excellent analysis, is that we get to do something we've never done and that's come in as the "savior", stop laughing. It's like my pick up line in college: " you've tried the rest now try me." But SWA is there and if the worlds largest airline, for now, shows up it'll be very noticed. SWA gives you the lower 48, we're the airline that gives you the world and we think we love you... STL. Which is very different that the norm where SWA gets all the fanfare when they show up. The question is, how would SWA react? Is getting them to ramp up STL a way to bog them down.

Its the ol' Muhammad Ali "rope-a-dope" tactic against George Foreman. We go into STL (ropes) with WN, while only distracting them long enough for us to build up LGA, all the while tiring them with their build-up and competition in STL.

So Super, word is SEC has talked to Texas A&M about going to the SEC several months ago. CU did accept the invitation to the PAC 10... PAC 11 I mean. Might Texas join them if they come?

One nice thing about all this talk though, it makes Notre Dame's desire to remain independent look weaker and weaker... They are gonna have to fish or cut bait.

Just heard that Texas, A&M and Tech were all going to be heading to the PAC whatever, PAC 16. Say goodbye to the Big 12. Leaves Kansas hanging.

Will Auburn now be the 2004 national champions?
That depends on the BCS and the BCS said they'd fall in line with the NCAA and supposedly the national championship trophy will be stripped from USC and removed from their campus. We could be without a 2004 NC. They also say the Heisman Trophy could be vacated for 2004 and no winner, because Vince Young said he wants no part as in winning it retroactively. Reggie Bush has apologized to USC and the fans. Now, can they strip Matt Leinharts Heisman Trophy for having been, and still being, a total tool.

T, ESPN reporting that the NCAA will announce the expected sanctions at 3pm and that it will be the 2 year ban, scholarship strip and vacating wins from at least 2004.
Will Auburn now be the 2004 national champions? That depends on the BCS and the BCS said they'd fall in line with the NCAA and supposedly the national championship trophy will be stripped from USC and removed from their campus.
