The Westin is nice, & Ellis Island Casino & Brewery is at a 45 degree to the left from the front door of the hotel. Awesome beer & a $6.99 steak dinner. I highly recommend the place.

At least JetU provides consistent quality airline oriented training. Its on the same vein as military training, not gonna get that from a Part 61 school.

One of my best friends at Sheppard AFB, back in the day was an F-5 guy at Clark between Eagle tours. He picked up the nickname "Noforn"........for no foreign insemination
. Made it all three years without doing the cherry boy tour downtown. He was on that fast track to general, great guy but I guess he was worried about the baggage.......yeah yeah that's the reason
PS He was even single at the time......we all just laughed

Mesaba is a great pilot group. They deserve more than the 9 flows per month compared with 20 from Compass. I'm not knocking Compass I'm just saying that Mesaba has some excellent people in their group. Every list has a few of "those" people.
