Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

But, the thing that bothers me about all of this is......best practices. There will be no one in a position of influence to to make our arguments. I guess I'll give up on checklist construction, flight planning, weight and balance or ACARS etc and just get what we get.
I'm not trying to be derisive, just feeling the beat down.

My take is that the Red book guys are annoyed they aren't running the show anymore.
Yeap move on with head in the sand and ops as normal and miss out on a chance to really make this airline great. What ever happened to trying to take the best of both sides. Do you see your mind set here???? Do you want to stay the same or do you want to be possibly better?????
Furthermore, the Amish make incredible food, furniture, and homes (I live in Amish country). If you think they're backwards and ignorant, you've got some learning to do. They have managed to dodge paying taxes, don't waste money on useless crap, own some of the prettiest and fertile land in America. They might look like poor and stupid, but trust me, they've got more money than you could ever imagine.

This airline is moving backwards but you can't see it. We can. Hopefully it turns around. We want it to. Do You?? Frozen in time explains where DAL is with respect to a poorly run operation. Tired of sitting at the gate 30 to 40 minutes past departure because they can't figure out the W&B quick enough. Totally embarrasing dude.
Funny, the only time I've sat at the gate waiting for W&B info is at DTW...former NWA base...because the gate agents haven't figured it out yet. Call the load people at DTW and ask for them to expedite? Get treated like the crack ***** down town. That's NEVER happened to me other than that at Delta. Plus, you talk about a poorly run operation? Again, take a look at Detroit brother. I've never had a problem at any other Delta base in the system. You got some facts? Bring it. Write a COR, report it to the CP, do something other then ***** on this forum.
