Got to love print media. Check out the lack of fact checking on this article.
The Unions Ready To Go After Delta – 24/7 Wall St.

Not only are the facts wrong, it is poorly written and doesn't really give you any information about the NBM process, Union process, or anything else.

And on another note:

You know, that is a lot of underboob, but on another note, I hadn't noticed and I don't know if anyone ever mentioned, but looking at one particular route paiing ATL-ORF, it looks as if mainline has taken it back completely. Its all MD88s all day, whereas 2008 and I want to say all of 2009 there may have been only one mainline flight and the rest were CRJ900s and 700s.
Just interesting. Not as interesting as soccer pics, but interesting none the less.

Airlines Should Pay Bumped Passengers More, White House Says

WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration wants to raise the amount airlines have to compensate passengers bumped from full flights to as much as $1,300. They pay up to $800 now.
The Transportation Department unveiled the proposals Thursday. The proposed changes also would give passengers 24 hours to cancel reservations without penalty.
And the new rule would require airlines to fully and prominently disclose baggage fees, prohibit price increases after a ticket is purchased, and give passengers timely notice of flight status changes.
The proposal would also extend to foreign airlines a three-hour limit on the time airlines can keep passengers waiting on airport tarmacs.
---
So are we seeing the elimination of refundable ticket? Now everyone gets a 100% refundable ticket? So you can reserve a spot on an airliner and then decide not to take it 24 hours in advance and now said airline has to fly with that seat empty because it probably won't be able to resell it. Yikes.
Well, hot damn, lets do that with sports tickets and see how that goes. I'd like a $10,000 nose bleed Super Bowl ticket, oh wait, nevermind.

You are joking, right???!!! It is the beautiful game!!!
I think what Nu is trying to say is if you are a big fan of high kicks, low scores and ties, soccer is the game for you!
don't kill me, I love that line. I grew up in Brasilia, not a big fan of soccer but I watch the world cup finals out of respect for the shear enormity of the event. The Super Bowl gives you that feel but this is the Super Bowl every 4th year. I think there is something to be said about waiting and stewing for a long time about a sporting event. For college fans, its a year between playing your rival and it makes it that much greater, for the NFL, its every 3 months, kind of a let down for such a well done sport. I think CLE-PIT, DCA-DAL, GRB-ORD and the like should be once a year, not twice.

Soccer's a game not for the average American fatties... you can't possibly run 90 minutes around a field larger than a football field without giving yourself a heart attack.
And btw, soccer is called "football" almost everywhere in the world, except, guess where, here in the US!
