Some of the Telex Headsets won't work on some of the 88s, I forgot what the reasoning was, but I had a maintenance guy explain it to me. I had the Telex 850s and they would work well on most planes, but every now and then I couldn't get them to function so I just switched out to my older Dave Clarks and haven't had an issue since.

You can use the Telex 750s, but just plan on switching out to the community headsets on occasion when the Telex aren't working. Just be careful not to get ear herpes, those community headsets get around.

Good luck on the 800 Satch. I hope that works out for you. I've debated trying to bid down too so I'll be watching your schedule to see how it goes.

Saw on another forum the topic of pre sceens by the CPO for new hires. Wasn't there a memo saying that they were not doing this?

Why in the world would you bid down? You live in the area so reserve is cake. You definitely don't want to get off the ER. I'm doing it because I live two thousand miles away.

Whats the deal with removal for IOE? 12 hours prior to show if they haven't done anything your off the hook? Also can one pick up a trip over the top of that trip if they don't use you (and get paid for both)?

What's the deal with pilots asking the forum for answers they have in their contract?

You can't enforce what you don't know.

When guys know what thye're talking about, and they start debating the fine point, then we'll reach a point where we actually can pick out mistakes. For far too long, I've relied on Delta to do the right thing, because I seldom could catch a problem, if at all. Trouble is, you're now adding about 5,000 guys that are trying to make this work, to the 7,000 guys that might be too complacent, throwing in fNWA schedulers AND new-hire schedulers that are not going to understand the contract, and are going to be "all about" covering the flights. That's a recipe for abuse. That abuse will mean less premium pay, and that means less money. For everyone. Especially me. And the kids. And that makes me unhappy. Leo's kids are set. Gerry's kids are doing fine. Richard's kids are not going to go hungry. So now, it's time for my kids.

RTFC. Then ask questions.

Come on Sink. That's not really the spirit to bring on here. I can see you are really unhappy, this morning. What's up?
