There aren't that many airports to fly to in the west.

The airports of any size at all are covered. If you fly over the area, you realize how spread out civilization is there.

Very true...and I still believe DL has plans for Alaska beyond this codeshare. But thats strictly my opinion.

Absolutely not, I avoided Mexico as much as possible. I figured it wasn't worth the hassel for the same pay

I am all about max pay with minimal effort

I didn't enjoy Mexico either thanks to getting the wrong overnights and then I think someone was worried about us EWR guys running in there. But I will say the training for it was sharp, made DAL mountain training rather dull.
