Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
BTW, Deltanet works with Ipad and Safari. Icrew does sort of.

The EVO 4G (and all Android 2.1 and better) will support Flash 10 and should do everything on iCrew.
I ordered one and plan to leave the laptop at home.
Isn't it nice to have a real advancement bid? Obviously many more than 100 were reinstated.

About 13 guys went on top of me in MSP. I bet I'm top 30% by 12/31/10. Hello weekends off!
Congrats to those that got to take an elevator ride up....
time to pop open a breakfast beer and wonder what my schedule will be like now that I moved backwards another 29 numbers.... (51 came into NYC ER B ahead of me, but most of the people that left were below me)

Joining those of you up in Snowtown! Looks like MSPM88B has about 67 unfilled spots (semi-public math) for those of you looking to get on at Delta. Can't wait to have you up there and junior to me!

Is there free wireless internet in the crew room in ATL? How about the other bases? We have free wireless in all the fNWA crew rooms.
Yes, Domestic lounge (A concourse) in ATL. Free Wifi in BDL airport, that's important as there are LOTS of 3+hr sits there.

I've always thought this would happen with a merger: the bases situated near large population centers at the corners of the country would become more senior. Factor in the fact there is more WB flying (or at least equipment that pays WB rates) available to the fNWA guys, who had to commute more, and I think it was always obvious there would be a realignment. We were only shielded temporarily, because the last bid offered no AE's for NYC 7ERB, and relatively many displacements system-wide. Paradoxically, while this one is positive, it allows junior guys to flee to greener pastures, this opens up slots. With pent-up demand for ER flying a) for the ATL guys running out of options, and b) the fNWA guys looking for better seniority, or an improved commute... it's pretty obvious some of us were bound to slide backwards.
I'm not bitter as I write this: it's one of the many factors in the merger, and this is the one that goes against us the most. OTOH, as we move forward in time, in the medium-term there will be more fNWA retirements, which will improve the overall advancement picture. So, each group is contributing to the common good. And as the georgraphic realignements occur, some base, somewhere, is going to start getting real junior. I think that's going to take place in the middle of the country.
Hopefully, the merged system is in a position to grow, and hopefully this offsets any migration that might occur.
