Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I'm sorry, I had to do a quick read at the pool of the last page and from what I gather there is a new LOA out today and the CPs are now giving anal exams.
Dammit, things are going down hill. Thank God I only work once every 3 weeks.

This is what you get, LOAs approving AEs. ;-)

Anyone see the objectives of the SOT? (Scheduling Optimization Team)?
The SOT’s mission is intended to include, but not be limited to:
1) an examination of the use of seniority on reserve trip assignments;
2) bidding for CQ training schedules;
3) assignments to short call reserve;
4) calculation of reserve requirements;
5) reserve unstacking parameters;
6) enhanced communication technologies;
7) pre-posting.
I like all of them except #1 (and I have no idea what pre-posting is).
I think #1 will just mess stuff up - I think the current RAW system is fine, but perhaps that's because I'm junior. it gives me an equal chance at the decent trips.

What this will do is allow a joint company-alpa team identify areas that can be fixed easily. They "may" be done because they benefit both parties, or they will be identified and then agreed to in future LOA's.
Seniority is gone on reserve, and that is a major complaint from many that want to fly the jet but refuse to do the reserve system. It is an area to work on.

He probably thinks you commute and therefore are burden on his bottom line as a tax payer
. You should do the responsible thing and move to a base and stop hurting his finances!

Its a good solution.
Execute your life in the image he projects to be the perfect, non-leaching DAL pilot, and you will be fine. Of course I think you also must be a completely condescending {edit} in all of your written communications as well.
PG, I'm sure you're a good drinking buddy but you ALWAYS come off as a condescending {edit}. And you have VERY good info and insights to offer. Your message is often not received because of it.

Whats the over/under on the AE results?
My bet, 12:01pm on 5/18/2010.
Who will be singing, "Well we're moving on up, to the [insert plane], to a deluxe apartment in the sky, moving on up..."
And who will be singing, "Well I'm moving on down..." or "I'm moving on out..."
Make your bets.
I'm interested to see how senior ATL is getting in every category. I think I'll keep ATL 88 but fall from roughly 80% last year at this time to below 90% this time. If I don't move down, I'd be shocked. Just an observation, don't nobody go getting their panties in a wad over a simple observation, k?

I have a paycheck question.
Between March and April my 401(k) contribution plumeted to half of what it was the previous month and I made more in April than in March. As far as I know I didn't change anything at 401k.com and am kinda miffed.
