Has it been decided that they are going to sell the shares? Not really equity stake that way!!! I would have thought we would have been kept in the loop a little more.

Hey guys, a thread on another website is reporting DL starting ATL-LAX-SYD service with 777's beginning this coming summer. Anyone heard anything?

The two pilots were approached by a guy - the FO sensed something was up and started to take off - the Capt didnt..and the guy had a rifle. He held the Capt up and the FO was on the phone with 911. Within SECONDS a College Park cruiser pulled up..but the mugger got away. Rumor is they were trying to find this guy and the supposedly got him soon after.

This march, some FAs had their laptops taken from teh Comfort Inn....a Pilot in class had perfume (she type) taken and another pilot had a chain taken. I had no problems. One of the Pilots reported this to DAL Sec and they investigated...I haven't heard of any problems there since..maybe they fired the housekeeper/worker that did it. I was super nice to all the female housekeeping staff thinking that if they liked me they wouldn't rob me...it worked :-)

NO ONE should do THAT in there. There are bathrooms right out the main door that are cleaner and more well stocked to do THAT in.

Yes, it has been "quietly" in the works for two years. July 09 was the target as of three months ago. I see that it is loaded in the SKD. I am sure that it still needs approval. It was stated that to be a global airline, you needed to go to Australia. Look for SEA later on.

Are you aware of DL's long term plans for BOS? Looks like B6 is growing slowly there just like they did at JFK. I've always wanted to see DL as the dominant carrier at BOS, but they can never seem to make a go of it. Also, any chance of the DC-9's taking over the shuttle from S5?

Oh boy, telling the 9 and 88 apart will be more difficult. Thats like seeing a CAL 737-800 and 900, you're always looking at it going "is that an 800... or a 900?" But when you see the 900 you know it.
