Same with the 73N. If you're not flying it is because you're at 30 in 7.
Sinca beat me to it, but they're trying to staff the Douglas jets, even if the displacement will be for less than 4 months before folks reinstate out of them. Apparently fuel costs and sending pilots to the schoolhouse three times in a year are not that big a deal. If the September prognostications are correct I'll get to check on 4 airplanes in ~ 15 to 16 months. Guess training is a "fixed cost."

The SEA 320 was talked about about two years ago, so even I was a little surprised to see it show up in there.
Bar, what is interesting is I know pilots that are not flying anywhere near that much on the 73N in ATL.
IF IF IF we merge with AS, there will be a 10 mile deep moat around their SEA flying. Probably not the LAX stuff but the SEA stuff.
PWA 22-12.

b. his standing bid indicates a request for such reinstatement, and
c. such vacancy has not been filled by reinstatement of a pilot senior to him who was

Well, at least being the most senior MD'd FO on the ATL7ER during the last AE gives me some horsepower.....

GREAT a positive bid,but to me it looks like a fnw favored bid again with lost of lifestyle changes for fdl pilots.
so much for the rumored A330Atl.
Awful for the cvg boys.
Not much heavy recovery for Atl,after the last bid.

They are amazingly capable at manipulating short calls to sniper shot trips in scheduling. It takes a coordinated effort among willing participants. I also strongly suspect that they hold trips out of open time, but then again, I've gotten lucky and sniper shot some over the phone.
The other issue with the 73N is that the double all nighters to S and Central America burn up a lot of TAFB without generating much block or credit. They balance those to avoid pilots going over 70 hrs on reserve.
