WT *, O? Whitehurst was ex McKinsey too? I did like avoiding US Air, getting some 757's and growing Delta organically. It meant jobs and advancement. Something that got turned around in short order after he left.

I never heard his name associated with the RJ's. Fred Reid & Leo always had their pom poms out for those. What was Whitehurst's role?

Have you read the submissions from Mesa v. Delta? What a mess.

Default Projected Staffing

Other notes of interest. I believe the 22 D.2 is contract min staffing so there should be more bodies not less that shown. SEA now has 508 positions between the 330 and 7ER. Overall required staffing went from 9383 (posted Dec 2009 for Dec 2010) to 10066 ( posted Apr 2010 for Nov 2010)

Also DTW 744 FO went form 144 required to 237. Thats a nice boost. Capt 133 to 175

Fish,

I found the current 22 D.2 but where do I find the Dec 2009? I am still learning to navigate Deltanet.

Thanks

They take them off Delta Net when they replace them. THe one the made in Dec 2009 for 2010 is in my anal retentive file folder that has them all since I returned from recall!

Thanks Fish!

Did you just do the math on your own? If so, can you tell me if the # of DTW 320B's went up?

Hmm. The "Section 22 D. 3. PWA Requirement, December 2010 Pilot Staffing" now posted shows total positions of 10514, whereas the new November 2010 staffing sheet shows 10066. That looks like a net LOSS to me.

From 2009 Copy DTW 320 B 254
From 4/2010 DTW 320 B 249

So it went down by 5. I have watched the NYC 7ERB (my cat) for the last three years and the actual bodies are about 30 higher than the required number. So in effect -5 seems like no change, unless of course your the plug

Talking Hope it's us!!!

Boeing takes 20 orders for 777s in week ended May 4

Stocks | Industrials

* Orders place by unidentified customer

* Brings net BCA orders for 2010 to 112

CHICAGO, May 6 (Reuters) - Boeing Co (BA.N) on Thursday said it received 20 orders for widebody 777s in the week that ended May 4.

The order, worth $4.1 billion to $5.2 billion at list prices, was placed by one or more unidentified customers and brings the total orders for Boeing commercial airplanes to 112 in 2010.

Boeing's commercial airplane division is recovering from a relatively weak 2009 when it received 142 orders -- down 61 percent from the previous year -- as airlines around the world struggled with weaker travel demand during the economic recession.

Boeing also reduced the number of 777 orders in the last week by four, bringing the net 777 orders for the week to 16.

Dont confuse the 2 reports PG. 22 D 3 is the bodies report and the new one will not be out until after the bid results are posted. the 22 d 2 for the 22 d 3 report that is shown is dated 12/2009 and the required staffing for it shows 9383. That is the report that was removed.

clear as mud, no
