Well, technically you are not "on duty" while sitting short call.

That is how it was explained to me when that question was raised. IMHO on SC isn't "rest" but until someone in authority comes along and defines the term, it is what it is.

I really think it would be interesting to see load factors and yield out there the last decade. Like I said, no data but I think we did it the smart way while we were holding on during bankruptcy.

Any new rumors from the NRT breakfast club........I haven't been out there for a few months (going back out later in May).

PS for the fDals, the petri dish of all good rumors are at breakfast in NRT
Well not rumors but definiitely 2 74s going(gone)to the desert. 320 charter flying in Europe (NBA annd U2) but AA may have gotten this if you have read earlier post. 777 to Sin. New hotel in NGO. That is all I know for now. Hear that the GUM and SPN layovers on the 757 are happening.

I have no recollection of that congressman

I thought we were getting the 744s OUT of the desert? What's the new hotel in NGO? Where am I going to eat if not on the other side of the train station? And is the Starbucks as close? The horror!!

Yeap gotta find all new places to go. Paris might have stayed at the hotel if she had visited NGO. Not sure where it is located but hope it is better than the last. Miss the Old Tokoyu hotel. We'll see.

It'll be my first dinner stop if/when I get back to Narita! Is the "Flyers" club/bar still there? The last time I was there Richard Branson had just opened up a english bar/pub. At least that was the rumor going around. I heard the "trailers" shutdown awhile ago.

Ferd, I'm glad your up for it 'cause, depending on the length of the layover, I might need some help finding my way back to the hotel!

If UAL/CAL happens that is great for us. Good riddance to being the largest airline in the world. Has being the biggest every really helped anyone long term? If so, how come no one ever seems to stay number 1 for very long?

And if these clowns that pose as DAL management want the bragging rights to being the biggest airline in the world (justifying the biggest bonuses I guess) then they better get some more mainline aircraft and continue to eliminate the outsourcing of our product and profits to DCI.

For y'all flying Asia, what do you do as far as getting local currency in Japan, China, Saipan etc? Do you use a credit card, ATM's, hotel etc.? Thanks,

Denny
