They made the correct decision at the time, imo. The changes to their work rules would have cost them a lot of money. I am not sure if many of them see that or just remember the pay change.
I agree. And I honestly do not know that much about their contract. But sometimes a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. There are no guarantees, either way. I also think we may likely be in this situation. Do we take the sure single, with a quick contract agreement, or swing for the fences, with an equal chance of a strike out or a home run?

PG;
Depends on the pitcher, what field you are playing in (Mile High is good for the long ball), where the pitcher is in his throw history, etc.

I know what you are getting at, and there is truth to it. I just fear that we may be looking for a single in section six with we should be looking for extra bases. I want the singles to occur in LOA's leading up to section six with at least a standing double if not a triple if we are looking for a quick deal.

Anyone would take the home run! Duh! It may be possible, and as you have stated there are many factors that will result in the batting coaches instructions when it is our turn at the plate. I just do not want to see us selling anything short looking for a sure thing. We always have three outs in an inning. You generally use the first and or second out for the long ball. The third out is when you play hit and run.

Capt. Tom Hendricks to Lead Industry Technical Team
Losing a very good man here but that's what he wants. He will undoubtedly do an outstanding job in this position. Will be a benefit for us and the entire industry.

That's why the 23:30 layovers kill me. It's really 3 days, but is only worth 10:30 credit. And why do reserves get less credit on some trips then lineholders? Why is a reserve pilots time less valuable then a lineholders?

You know the response you are going to get.....

You are paid the greater of min day credit, or actual credit at the end of the month.....

I agree it should be the same for both. Add to it, leg by leg cancellation pay. Not by trip. That goes for reserves too !

Ya know they are pilots with 25 years with the company that deal with this. It is not just a longevity issue.

How do we fix that - they are the worst!!!!!!!!!

I would guess the 5:15/day, no exceptions would fix it.

However, they just came up with a new one - 0040 report, turn around and come back the next day at 0900 east coast time and only pays 10 hours so technically it's only a 2 day. Don't know how to fix that one.
