That will be coming soon too. Lots of that. Problem is that the DCI contracts are close to iron clad.
They have offered 1 90 for 2 50's but the DCI carriers have said, nope 1 for 1.

Nice! Maybe I'll go take a look. I have nothing else to do today on reserve.

Mudhendrvr, I agree. I dont want to keep churning the same complaint but the lack of base/NB fences could hurt for us guys in LAX/SLC. Are you in one of those two bases? What is your company wide seniority from the bottom (ie 7%)?

I for one am pretty upset at the lack of base fences.....I chose Delta for the West Coast bases and I am pretty junior. With that said, ****es me off that NW guys .....most of which are senior to me......can now get out west and bid an Original DL base and get it before me. Nothing against them/us now I guess, just going to make my quality of life pretty horrible for the rest of my career. I will not move to the East coast.

I'm on the same page as you. I live on the West Coast, and I'm extremely junior. I'm hoping, though, that we're now going to use the West (specifically SEA) to expand into Asia. Hopefully, this merger presents some expansion opportunities on the West Coast which will offset the NWA pilots moving into SLC and LAX. I'm sure there are plenty of junior NWA pilots who are not happy about Delta pilots moving into MSP and DTW. It would have been nice to have some base fences established.

Sorry guys,

I hope you don't get booted from your bases. I live in the midwest, and have commuted to EWR and ONT. Commuting to DTW is MUCH easier, and I'd prefer to just keep that commute. If they move my airplane or get displaced, I may not have a choice

I'm sorry man, do you mean that DAL offered DCI a CRJ900 if they give up 2 50 seaters and DCI said we'd take a 900 but we're only giving up 1 CRJ200 in return?

How bout if we start furloughing people we dust off Delta Express in E175s and CRJ900s? Preferably the 175.

That's how I interpreted it. 1 CRJ 900 for 2 CRJ 200s. How much of our wholly owned carriers can we reduce? What's the restriction on Comair?
