They want your license, medical, passport, shot records and distance learning completion notice. This is the company's time to officially check to see that you are who you say you are. For me they take it one step further. Being a foreign bast$%d I have to get a background check for every training event. 121 pilots were exempt until Homeland Security started searching for more ways to make money. Now I pay to go to the sim. Is that sadomasochistic?? Kinda crazy eh...I pay for the pleasure to get beat up in a sim.

My objective is to realistically look at the landscape, economy, other airlines, and craft a reasonable opener that puts us at the top of the industry, whatever that might be, ignoring the past. I suspect that's about what the current team will do too; hence my desire to put you and Cap'n Crunch in charge. Your guys view is to demand 73% (at least) regardless of the situation, tell them those are our demands, tell them just to raise ticket prices and pay it, and sit back and watch them cave.

I never said that my suggested strategy is to just "demand" 73%. It's never that simple. My main point is that we are unlikely to achieve any more than the objectives we set. Obviously, my objectives are quite a bit higher than yours.

I used to be a pony fan when I lived out in Estes Park... a million years ago... but now I have gone back to the roots, and I am waiting for Vince Young..( thanks again Super... for what, I don't know...) and the Titans to get that extra yard at the end of the Super Bowl. So I don't know how I would feel about TT taking charge in the Big D... I think he has a shot though, because the cupboard there isn't exactly overstuffed with QB talent...
I think TT will do good in whatever position they put him in. I'll be interested to see his evolution along with Colt.
Y'all keep an eye out for Garrett Gilbert here at Texas in the next few years. He's taking over for Colt and has alot of potential! He's 19 years old, 6'4" 215lbs. I'm excited about this season

OK - so to paraphrase you, your objective is full restoration, meaning a 100% pay raise (73% plus 8 years of inflation) and I assume also full restoration of our DB pension?
I'm glad we got that straight.
If APA has been stonewalled for 3 years with no improvements any where in sight, and they're only asking for 50%, just how do you propose for us to get 100% two years from now? I really want to know your strategy. Honestly.
BTW, wishing is not a strategy.
