It also brings up another question. The FMNW pilots have filed a grievance claiming that since the 777 is flying many former NWA routes in DTW it should not have been fenced and is a replacement aircraft.
If the NWA pilots are going to continue with that grievance then it stands to reason that the same thing applies to the 747 in NYC which will be flying Delta routes. It should not under that logic be a fenced aircraft. The bid should be a open bid.

This is true. Why then would the MEC not allow North grievances to just go thru and just be done? I have no dog in this fight, but seeing the way KW went down is very disappointing and causes one to lose a great deal of trust. It will have a lasting impact.

The easiest thing to do is convince an airline pilot he's getting screwed. A few people with bruised egos are taking advantage of that weakness and perpetuating the myth that these dumb grievances have merit. Has anybody posted the contract passages that were allegedly violated?

Johnso, that LOA was agreed to by the MEC. Those jets are flying around because we (the MEC) agreed to it. We got our interpretation to the language agreed to.

This is so tiring.
Moak doesn't throw anything away that the MEC doesn't let him throw away. When are you guys gonna stop blaming everything on one guy? Do you honestly think the entire MEC is so hypnotized by the mystical Moak as to be powerless to stop his evil ways.....
