Say your class' first guy finished ioe on Jan. 15th. Your whole class then would get their raise the following Jan 1st for the entire month of January. THIS was our longevity date. Delta is now trying to say that it is the 15th, and keep you on the former payrates for an extra 15 days.

Is this grievance worthy? I've talked to payroll and they're not budging. I'm going to do a little more research (don't have the old nwa contract with me on a trip) and then call contract admin if we still have that.

Any other fnwa guys dealt with this? It's around $500 difference this year jumping from 2nd to 3rd year pay.
I would call you Contract Admin pilot. There is no other way around it. They will either site the part of the TFA that amended NWA practice, show you that it was a practice that NWA was doing and not policy or contractual, or correct it. Save yourself the time and call as well as e-mail them all of the details. This is what they do, and they are good at what they do.

Are you sure they are keeping you on the old rate until the 15th or are they just saying you wont see the money till the 15th. That is when we get our flight pay. The check on the first is just an advance and is the same for everyone based on YOS.

Wow, two first rounders for Alabama. That's unusual.

Satch, good point. It is also not a first check it is paid on the last day of the month so it would be an old rate.

My anniversary or DOH date is 3 dec. I don't see the increase each year until Jan 15th. Maybe that is what is happening.

We've got to make a business case for this flying..... Just sat and chatted with a 6 year Pinnacle Captain about this for the last hour..... These guys are counting on us too. Many people in the industry are looking to see how this next round of contracts play out. That's why the only company at the Paris airshow to order the Cseries was Lufthansa and the only other carrier that I know of to order it since is RAH.......

We're counting on you Lee....

Yup. They picked him with pick #25. Ahead of Colt and Clausen. Wow.
