No, I think he was counting his signing bonus.

Even Peyton looked at the sky a lot his rookie season. What cracks me up is the coin these guys get... But I guess if you are a Lions fan, the zillion pasetas they paid Matthew Stafford was well worth it.. he did bring the losing streak to an end..

I've just seen my Bears pick QB, after OB, and waste draft picks. The most important thing our guys can do is hand off the ball and try not to fumble.

Okay here is a trip for you. I had a 0930 SC. I get a 4-day signing in at 1345, I accept it at 0830. First day 3 legs, DTW turn and then DTW overnight. The plane is later and then we find out that the position light is out during the walk around. Maintenance replaces the bulbs, no luck, then after a while they replace the housing, no luck. They can't trace the issue, the plane is removed. Now we find another plane. As I go to preflight it, its after 11pm, the gate agent informs me that we, the pilots, are about to time out. Turns out they're right, duh, we're due to land at 0130, that'd be 16.5 hours since I started SC at 0930.

So they find a SLC FO who was on his way to an ATL overnight and have him fly it and me DH. Worked out for him, he was done in DTW and got to commute home a day early.

But I was not released to the 1345 show and my time started at 0930 with my SC.

I bet next QB to go is the 5th on the chart, Levi Brown from Troy.

Was this in regards to our yearly pay increases still going off of the old NWA way of 3 mos. after hire date?

ftb,

If they give you the 2 hour time to commute in, when does your duty time begin?

Yeah. Now Delta is trying to add a few weeks more to it. They're saying that our longevity date is the date the first guy finished IOE. Actually, NWA either moved it forward to the beginning of the month or to the first of the next month, depending on when the date fell.

Say your class' first guy finished ioe on Jan. 15th. Your whole class then would get their raise the following Jan 1st for the entire month of January. THIS was our longevity date. Delta is now trying to say that it is the 15th, and keep you on the former payrates for an extra 15 days.

Is this grievance worthy? I've talked to payroll and they're not budging. I'm going to do a little more research (don't have the old nwa contract with me on a trip) and then call contract admin if we still have that.

Any other fnwa guys dealt with this? It's around $500 difference this year jumping from 2nd to 3rd year pay.

1) If they release you to rest while on SC they will tell you.

2) If you are unsure, check the reserve availability list. It shows your new SC stop time. (It always updates to report time for the end time.

3) Duty never starts until report. Not being on "rest" on SC while commuting in per your contractual right is another item entirely.
