Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Scambo, for a 777 guy you either got young kiddos, or grand kids, or you just like Nickjr. I am not sure which!
George, I guess they can save our day. That is something I guess.
I've got a 4 year old. Cant stand it but have watched all those shows with him. I actually liked watching the little einsteins - I could watch his brain grow. He still calls the planes on a stick in front of my AFB "big jet". He has graduated to boomerang - I still like the really old popeye cartoons on there.
Thats what they say. I feel pursaded to believe them. And they'll cut my grass!
During the week it should be on the Fox News Business Channel.
I mean here we are with new 401K stuff coming and needing to make selections and what does it mean and what do we chose and so on.
But if you dont do Fox Business then leave it on Fox and don't touch it during the week from 9am-3pm.

Time will tell, but I do not foresee us selling any flying about 76 seats. More 76 seat jets, well I guess that is a possibility as I have heard that we will not give larger jets or more seats, but I have not heard that we would refuse to allow more of these jets. I am thinking that is a non starter too, but I can see them asking for 255 with no 3 for 1. Just a guess at the next request.
I know you feel the same way, but count me firmly in the "Not one more seat, pound, or aircraft" crowd.
I will vote a big, loud NO and will be first to scream for a recall of any rep that pushes a contract involving ANY scope concessions . We are on the concessionary contract now. There is absolutely no reason we should even consider a contract with anything relaxed in Section 1 in the "restoration" contract .
There should be no givebacks period on the next contract. Every pilot group has given and given. It's time to stop the bleeding - and maybe get back some of what this career was. No concessions - restore pay and work rules!
As you guys have pointed out many times, we really need to push for inclusive scope. That will go a long way to closing loopholes. I'd also like to see some language prohibiting a RAH type scope dodge, by merely operating different certificates.
I asked him about SCOPE and He said," If RAH joins STAR AllIANCE, Scope will be bypassed because RAH is a STAR ALLIANCE AIRLINE".
This is going to get interesting, time to nip it in the bud..

OK, I know this was touched on the other week, and ever since that I have been noticing the A320/19 nearly always have their APUs running all the time while they are on the gates... ?? Why?? Anyone?

Yes we now fly for both Delta and United....and I think there is more coming our way. I want my company to grow as I have decided to stay here. More airplanes, bigger airplanes, I don't care....It is still an issue, because you are asking my union to limit me. I understand why you are asking, but don't expect me to support it unless there is something in it for me...Sorry, but it is business.
The time to fix this has passed. We are closing the barn door far too late. It is far too complex a problem at this point to simply negotiate a single list. It is going to get more complex as we watch the Republic issue unfold. Jerry is watching that one closely. Ironically, by limiting the regionals, you will probably create some competitors with far lower costs.
