Also the taxi times are so short that often you need them fired up right away to allow for warm up time.

With that said, there are some opportunities available to cut some fuel out with fuel savings. Especially with conditioned air, gpu plugged in etc.
The first time I saw those narrow MEM alleys that curve that reminded me of that Bill Cosby routine about driving in San Fransisco and down Lombard St and how the roads went straight up and down and when they weren't satisified with you kililing yourself that way they but grooves in it and then planted flowers for all the people that killed themselves.

FtB; you should have seen it with a 747 or DC-10 parked in there!

surely you're not talking about the alley ways in MEM? In the V, sure but not in the alleys.

All of the above is true.

Don't think that will happen...more changes are coming our way.

Are they as hot there as pilots claim?

At least you know if World War III starts you'll be safe... as for the rest of us?

That's awesome!! Although, it is "seasonal" as I understand it, correct?

Worked with some Ukrainian soldiers on a previous deployment, and just have to say, the women were FAR FROM BEING UGLY.

Speaking of the 10, for those NWA guys who flew it, what was it like? On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being like hanging out with Megan Fox and 1 being Barbara Walters?

Heard more specifically that the extra fuel savings would account for a lot of international belly freight they are leaving behind right now. Also heard the flight planning software is planning the 330 at .79 - normal is .82. Supposedly the code is written around the 767 which cruises at .79 and does not allow for higher speeds??
