Bingo. Thanks Forgot. Kind of a complicated system, but I guess I have to learn and adapt.

I had it memorized.

To make room I dropped all of my knowledge of systems and limitations and the LAVS maneuver and VNAV.

I lied. I didn't memorize it.

The rest is true.

I will say this, originally I was left with the impression that 2/3 of NWA was on the DC9. When I look at your seniority list however I see the 757 and A320 sitting way low at the bottom of DTW and A320 in MEM.

Do you have a lot of commuters? Are they bidding the 9 for quality of life? I hear that a lot but is that really the case? I feel like thats the case on our 88.

Dude,

Thank you for asking. I have been on this board for so long trying to tell people that every one of the new hire pilots I have flown with could hold the 320. Most -- those hired in 2007 -- could hold the 757. Yes. Quality of life is the issue. MSP is the senoir base as well as it seems that the only pilots NWA hired this year had ties to MSP and they all want to be home.

Anyway, most DC-9 pilots, CA and FO, are there by choice. Me personally, I can't stand that Airbus thing.

NewK,

That is the $64,000 question. I think all of us are wondering the same thing.
