As stated before a sliding scale 5 hrs below the alv (not less than 70) would give most everybody on reserve a pay raise right now and be restoration of what we once had. We all want the same thing, just how do we allot it.
I bid reserve and I agree. The sliding window is the best way to go. 75 is great, but I rather see it in an across the board bump.

Yes, a little fire for effect. I guess that's OK only if you are the originator. Given the indivdual in question was as toxic to one pre-merger group as our former MEC Chair was to the other I don't see the extreme metaphors as that inappropriate.

I guess

"Politics of personal destruction.....The current push is to get committee members elected by the MEC so the "north" guys can reestablish their petty personal fiefdoms like their old MEC did"
are fine.

A lot of us are trying to act and work as we are all part of one Delta pilot group - you use the terms "North" and "South" to divide and as a battle cry.

Part of the frustration that the Watts and C54 letter were symptomatic of (there was enough truth wrapped in the BS to resonate widely) was crystallized in your post.

We are all Delta pilots is just a slogan to you so long as you continue to call the shots. There are very few DTW, MSP, MEM, and SEA Delta pilots who don't see through the rhetoric.

To answer your question, yes they do.

Johnso29, definitely put in the GS and say you need notice of 12 hrs if that's the min time you need. When there are a lot of GS's, they know well in advance. If you are willing to do it, it never hurts to try.

So you're all saying there is hope! Thanks!

No offense to the passionate unionists here, but the reason I don't go to the DALPA forum anymore is because there are certain individuals who post this crap there. Now it's over here. Are you the same guys? I'd sure hate to have to go find another place because the toxic crap from DALPA leaked over here.

I was wondering the same thing because i've never seen those codes before on the north side. I thought it was a South thing? Just go to the sim schedules and you should see which sim you're in.

This North-South stuff makes me want to quote Lincoln or watch North and South!

Ferd, I am very glad you are back. Keep posting and tell Carl to get off the golf course.
ACL, thanks for the kind words, good to be back.......now why am I on here vs getting my bid together again?

Scoop, FtB, Super, Clamp, Johnso...........good to see you guys too.

The debates are OK and the difference is that you can Ignore certain users if you so choose. IMHO, it is good to see the food fights. Yep, even on here.
People migrated here for a reason, I am sure we will self correct like we always do!
