What do you think the chances are of a pilot in the bottom 1 percent getting SEA? "One in a million? So your telling me there's a chance." (Dumb and Dumber)
I would be surprised if it went to anyone hired after 1997.
The trick will be if they keep 330 staffing neutral and open the base. If they do then many may get it only to be bumped once the 330 is thinned out on the next ae. So many ways to do it.

The answer to your question is........................I don't know!! I've thought about this a lot and don't know if it would be better to do 2 smaller bids or one large bid. In a smaller bid, say two groups of 50 each, some guys might hold off to see where they would sit senority wise whereas if it's one big bid, they will probably bid it. Either way, put it in and hope for the best!! You never know, stranger things have happened!! That's my philosophy.

ACL,
The latest I've heard about the 330 in SEA is that it will remain staffed as it is into 2011 and then be re-evaluated.
