Then what.. binding arbitration with Harvard graduates determining our fate in DC? yeah.. that's gonna work....

Nope... I will go back to an argument I have been harping on for months. It takes big brass ones from the leadership in Herndon. Good luck with that.

Nothing wrong with stating your opinion. I agree. Learned a lot from the A that I was flying with this trip. I always do.

What we all need to realize is "new" may just be new to Delta, and "Old" is relative. We all need to read what each is saying prior to responding. Let it sink in.

A lot need to improve. I beleive we are up for the task, and that task will unify this group.

It is a first step, and one that can probably get through the DC Red Tape. It puts a end date on things. Makes both sides move. The White House needs labors support for 2012 and this type of thing will help cement that. (Not a political post, just a observation)

Once that is done, work on the other things. I hear what you are saying.

Acl: When I was displaced from the MD-11, the company paid for my move. If memory serves, I was limited to 14,000 lbs. They also transported my cars and paid me $8,000 as well. They didn't buy my house, but it was still more than I expected. I'm not sure what the policy is now.

1. Subject to the limitations in Section 6 B. 2., an eligible pilot will be provided the
following relocation benefits:
a. Household Goods and Personal Effects
The cost of packing, crating, and transporting up to 24,000 pounds of the pilot's
household goods and personal effects, when arranged by the Company with a
recognized public moving and storage company, from his former permanent
residence to his new permanent residence (or storage facility in the vicinity of his new
permanent residence).
Note: Company paid expenses under Section 6 B. 1. a., will not exceed the expense of
moving the straight line statute mile distance between the airfield reference points at the
former base and the new base.
1. An eligible pilot will:
a. be released from duty for up to seven days based on the lesser of:
1) one day for each 400 miles or portion thereof between his old residence and his
new residence, or
2) one day for each 400 miles or portion thereof between his old base and his new
base.
b. receive pay/no credit at a pro rata portion of the ALV for each day off as provided in
Section 6 D. 1. a.
2. In order to be released for relocation, a pilot must make his request to Crew Scheduling at
least 15 days prior to the first desired day of travel time.

It is not as good as it was. Also, selling the house is the issue. Most are underwater if they bought in the last five years.

Yeah, that's it. Ha Did you have to type all that out or were you able to paste it? Yeah, selling the house situation adds an entire new dimension to it doesn't it?

Did you put in a valid e-mail addy? If not go do that and see if you get a confirmation and then check again.

They limit PM's for new users but I know you are past that.

Yes it does. Currently limits many options.
