Met a smoking hot DALN 75 pilot in NYC the other day. She just finished her first TOE. I think I'm going to like this merger...

DL has spent a lot of money to give the DAL-N guys bounces in the 767s, so they should get a chance to fly them I would think.
I'm hearing that the N FAs are going to have the 767 chained to the gate with a court order because they are the only FAs that can fly with the DALn guys. Those S FAs can't fly with the N-guys. So I guess the S guys will be on those 767s.

My guess is DAL will staff those flights with whatever crew they want, and the AFA will just have to file a grievance.

We got some pretty fiesty FAs up north. Had one that the company owed money to and she had a full 747 chained to the gate by court order until she was cut a check. No kidding, I was there. Talk about embarrasing!!!!! This was long ago but it did happen.

I would assume that those bases will be doing that flying. Makes sense and allows those to be out and backs. Doing that will save DAL about 130K per route per year in hotel rooms alone.
I guess if these are guys already flying the 757, it makes sense.

Yep they are International qualified already and being ER pilots it makes a lot of sense. We will still have plenty of 10+ day trips going out to the Far East from SEA and other bases for the near future.
That is unless they do a HNL 7ER base or make GUM a 757 hub. Time will tell I guess.

Seems like they're shooting themselves in the leg on this issue. This will probably do more to turn the S FAs off than anything else as they see S pilots and FAs flying trips that should have been N crews.

Probably right. I wish they could just get the thing done vote or what ever they need to do to settle it and get on with business.

Some of these guys think the stock could triple. DYODD.
Its been a great performer the past year. I bought a good sized chunk when it was beat down. I was initially concerned when the JAL deal went south but the analysts don't seem bothered and fundamentals still look good. Lets keep this going!
