Kind of funny actually. I guess if they are fighting they probably are not merging!

Waves, we need to get you an avatar picture. Your choices are, an animal, your former Navy jet, something on fire, a character from a comedy, a sports car that people would respect, a trailer you can live in with your college emblem on the side or a cheerleader from your college. Or a hot cheerleader from any college, but never ever from the NFL or NBA or high school.

Your choice.

Also, learn to watch avatars, some say things that are very intriguing... acl.

Have you ever flown with someone that reads the forums? It starts out like "heard any rumors" and then we notice all of the rumors we know are the same. "where did you hear all of that?" And then I say the forums and then I end up doing a carpet dance trying to protect my annonymity.

Oh by the way Buzz, give em' hell.

That is awesome, except it should've ended with the lady being told welcome aboard. I didn't get the cows on the tarmac. But the best part is seeing terminal D and all of the people watching these people run to the plane. It'd been even better if they had 120 cows with a few evil eyes, some jumping up and down and a few elbows in line would've been great. It'd been inappropriate but every stampede I've personally witnessed on my grandfathers farm ended with some bull trying to mate. Nothing says mating time like a stampede, evidently.

Years ago my wife and I flew SWA from BHM-MSY, she said never again. The lack of assigned seating and the fear of not sitting together and then once we're on board having people ask if you'd move just made the pre-boarding a stressful event. Mind you ValueJet had the same seating style back in the mid 90s but dropped it, I don't know if that was after they became AirTran or before.

Speaking of throwin elbows, I ran a punk teenager into the grass yesterday when he tried to pass me after his lane had ended and despite me being bumper to bumper with the car in front. I'm going to be that lady from Fried Green Tomatoes, "face it kids, I'm older and have more insurance."

Word from the ATL CPO is that the DOT/DOJ are not going for the new slot swap. I hope they're wrong.

Wow.

How much is SWA paying these folks?

Here's your man, DOT Secretary Mr. Ray Lahood:

Well that is not good. The "rumor" was that there was a wink wink nod with some of the work being done in DC.

Gosh no one wants to upset poor SWA......

I think if SWA wins and we have to pull back on the slot swap, and thats assuming we aren't forced to give them up anyways because we chose the wrong 4 low cost carriers to sell the slots to over the one the DOT/DOJ wanted, then we really ought to ramp up BNA and BHM flying and flood Islip, Vegas, Oakland and Love with RJs, for starters. If we've got RJs and DC9s to spare, use them and clog the system.

Oh well, back to the chainsaw. This time to my face, its been way too long since I last flew and one the beard gets bad enough that I can actually part the seas then I know its time to shave again even if I'm not going to fly for another week.
