whoa...... That doesn't seem right to me. Can you post the note here?

Come on folks!!! Are some of us going to get wrapped around the axle about what DCI says on there flights? Don 't we have more pressing issues in our own house to be worrying about DCI?
I understand the angst, I just don't agree that it needs to go to the union and have their time wasted on DCI pa's instead of fixing our own problems.
Just trying to see the big picture here

I should have made myself more clear. It was not a political post, & KC10Fatboy did not get in trouble. It wasn't even directed at him, otherwise I would have quoted him.

I was just making a general statement to hopefully prevent what could come about. Perhaps a bit premature on my part, but just wanted to throw it in there.

I haven't seen any memo's about this. You may want to check your source. The thing I hate is that mangement want our FA's to say our first and last name. Why do the pax need that much information?

Do you want your doctors first name only?

I say battle this on every front. Let's take every chance to keep the outsourcing issue in front of our Reps faces. The next contract will determine the future of our domestic fleet.

Republic ordering the Bombardier Cseries configured at 138 seats makes me wonder who and what will replace the DC-9's. Republic Airways Orders 80 Bombardier CSeries Aircrafts. | Planenews Aviation News

Uh.. yeah this IS important. If our brand is being diluted, I think we have a reason to be concerned. As it is, passengers are clueless as to whose airplane they really are riding on sometimes, and this furthers blurring that line. But to ask you the question: At what point would YOU become concerned about who is calling themselves "Delta Air Lines"? would you care if Comair suddenly started this? How about Air France (when they are flying to/from the USA) This has a real parallel to scope in my mind, but I could be wrong.
