Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I know this has been answered before, but...
I'm a fully qualified 755b moving from DTW to ATL in April. The 757/767 fleet manager called last week and said that all DalN pilots would have to complete WWO initial training and then fly a TOE. OK, I guess I can live with that as I need to see how DalS guys do it. I had two CDG trips that I now see have been removed from my schedule (I'm pay guaranteed) while waiting for TOE. If I understand this correctly, I am off the schedule until that TOE is accomplished??? I so, cool. I get to see all The Masters but I still have to do the honey-do's. If not, can they assign me to domestic flying?

Just got the information about the new online jumpseat beta program. DAL-N guys are gonna be disappointed. You can't automatically book jumpseats using a computer like you could previously. The programmers put a "human being" verification process in there using pictures. This keeps a computer from being able to book the jumpseat. Personally, I'm glad they did this, but I think I might be the exception to the rule. It will be nice to have the online access, though!
Excuse my ignorance but on the old NWA system could you just put in your js request and let it sit in a queue? Was it by seniority?
I know a lot of the DFW commuters have not only themselves but their wives and in some cases children doing it. And still no luck.

There were also some guys that used a program that would autobook their jumpseat exactly 10 days prior so they didn't have to be on the computer right then. I never messed with this but it apparently was a big deal for some of the FL commuters.
Is this referring to the next AE posting? Is that how DAL announces staffing decisions, via the AE process (ie more vacancies than available pilots??)
THIS is the kind of info that people keep coming back to APC for Keep the good news, even if it's just speculative dot-connecting, coming!

Gem em apps in. You probably want them in a few months before they start calling.
Yep, and I am betting this is through dbms so no families can do it since they are not allowed access by corporate policy.

Looks like the MEC changed its mission statement. Nice!
