Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Complain about what? That your costs are going down (significantly) in the core plan? That the plan is more compliant with the law? That it's modeled after and an enhanced version of the top rated 401K (NWA RSP)by an independent rating agency?
Or that your personal pet fund is no longer subsidized by other pilots...
Seriously, though, the NWA and Delta plans had to merge. Delta management has the right under the contract to pick the Trustee, funds, etc. for the plan. They used outside consultants to help with the design. You'll still have access to almost all the funds you like via BrokerageLink, and the core funds in the plan should be lower cost and better performing for the average pilot investor.

I wish they would reduce the trading costs in the BrokerageLink account account for those of us who dislike for profit mutual funds.

Gotta hand it to them. What a brilliant move by management. They just cut CALPA off at the knees in any arbitration. We have essentially set the market and CAL has just paid higher (by $1) than market rates. I think the work rules also are a huge change. (Speaking with only anecdotal knowledge on the previous point. I would be happy to eat my words if I'm not right!) Gonna be interesting how this turns out.
CAL pilots getting an industry leading contract will be good for eveyone here at DAL during our upcoming 2012 contract talks. A win for CAL pilots will be a win for all of us.....likewise, if they lose...we all lose.
I support the CAL group in getting an industry leading contract. DAL+1....that is f'n laughable! FUPM!!
It would be interesting to see an analysis of how the changes would effect CAL staffing. I'm sure our work rules would require more pilots, but I expect that would be more than offset by our scope.

I think all trades are $7.95 per thouand now. That seems pretty competitive for the range of services offered. I know you can get lower per share trade prices, but companies that offer those generally don't offer Plan administration, record keeping, options, etc.

ACL65, if it has a bathroom, you could write it off & still continue to claim the three kids down the street at dependents on your Form 1040. Sign your return in the Preparer Line, "Haywood Jablome"
