Subject: ACTION REQUIRED. Please set your Delta Network password now.

In order to open your new Delta e-mail account after migration, you must activate your Delta network account by setting the password.

The Delta Network logon is NOT the same as the PPR or Delta Passport account. The Delta Passport account accesses systems that are available for outside the copy network like DeltaNet. The Delta Network Logon accesses internal systems like Outlook. Details regarding the various user IDs can be found in the Delta system access numbers at Northwest E-mail Migration Support Documents<Extranet Landing Page>.

THIS IS A CRITICAL TASK!
IF YOU DO NOT SET A NETWORK PASSWORD, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR E-MAIL.

Your Delta network logon ID is last 5 of your 6 digit employee #

The default password is as follows:

- The last five digits of your logon ID, followed by
- The first two letters of your first name in UPPERcase, followed by
- The first letter of your last name in lowercase

To set the network logon password, use the CITRIX Password Reset Tool<http://citrix.delta.com/Citrix/Metaf...uth/login.aspx>. IMPORTANT!!! You must access the CITRIX Password Reset Tool from a corporate machine on the Delta network (like a crew base machine) NOT from a personal / home computer.

Once you access the CITRIX Password Reset Tool, logon initially with your default password above, and then enter a new password. Your new password must meet the following Password Complexity Rules:

Password Complexity Rules
- Must be at least 8 characters in length
- Must contain at least one UPPERcase letter (A – Z)
- Must contain at least one lowercase letter (a – z)
- Must contain at least one number (0 – 9)
- Cannot include your employee number
- Cannot include your first or last name
- Cannot include special characters like ! @ # $ %<mailto:!@#$%> ^ & * ( )

Step-by-step instructions for setting your network password are located at Northwest E-mail Migration Support Documents<Extranet Landing Page>. If you still experience issues, you can contact the Helpdesk for assistance.
i just called the help line and they reset my password for me and it was much easier than the companies method. fwiw

Quick question guys....My brain is working slow today and I cant find the info so I decided to come to my reliable sources on APC.
Authorized personal drops.....we get four days a year correct? Do those four days reset on my hire date anniversary or some random date for everyone at Delta? Reason I ask is because my anniversary date is coming up quick and I want to use my APD days before they go to waste and then get my new ones for next year two weeks later

Bottom line is if you push dispatched under weight and went back to the gate.. you didn't do your preflight number crunching properly. I would think it would be pretty hard to defend going back to the gate to pick up anybody, especially non-revs. As a commuter, I am very sensitive to getting all the nonrevs on, (because there is a very good chance it could be ME that gets on) but that needs to be done prior to push. period. After that, you are really hanging 'em out there.

Please check this closely. I thought it was the BID MONTH your anniversary falls in. I'm running out the door but be careful here. Check the wording exactly before you bank on it. For ex-If your hire date is 4/15, I think you have to use it before the Apr bid period starts, but again check the wording for yourself!

OK I couldn't leave you hanging on this one. I looked it up and it says:

SECTION 23 I 8 b

"pilot has not been granted an APD since the FIRST DAY OF THE BID PERIOD CONTAINING THE LAST ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DATE OF HIRE..."

So it looks to me like you need to use the APD no later than the bid period PRIOR to you anniversary bid period month.

Best...Philly
