Yep, and they put a NWA guy in charge of the process. That should tell you something guys. They agree with your complaints.

I agree Downline gate info is nice, but it can change. That is why they have those flat screens above the gates. It updates itself.

Logging landings would be nice.

We are getting CPDLC on the 767ER's that can get retrofitted

A pay query button on I-crew where you can e-mail a sked super to look at an issue. I suggest this since I am still trying to get a super that has five mins to look over a coding issue.

Autobook for JS's. On-line booking etc.

Point is there is and always will be a ton of room for improvement. Lets make a logical case to brng forward. Those are listened to because they are non-emotional and fact based.

Hey, I'm all for improvements and upgrades. I'm just tired of all of the beeyatching about trivial shizzle. Let's all keep our eye on the ball here.

Complaining about notepads or where we're going to write things down ain't the big picture. I paid props to MSP and their ops there. We DALS guys can definitely learn and appreciate how they do bizness up there.

I don't care to hear constant harping, however, about how things used to be at either company. That ship has sailed.

Buzz, I agree. From previous posts I have made, I believe you can see we are on the same page.
Pilots hate change, but change is inevitable with two airlines of this size integrating.

Absolutely ACL. I just used your quote to pontificate about the entire "change" argument.

Default AF ZED fares

We are trying to use Air France and get a ZED fare from CDG to FLR. On the travelnet page in the AF section there is a paragraph on embargoes. I cannot figure out exactly what they are saying. Here is a copy...

BAGGAGE – All nonrev passengers traveling to Paris or Nice cannot check baggage beyond CDG or NCE.
Excludes all codeshare flights not operated by Air France and the following flight series:
AF 3000-3099, 3600-3699, 4152-4155, 4400-4499, 4600-4999, 5020, 5027-5029, 6300-6399, 7100-7299, 8000-9999 Permanent embargoes on the following routes: PAR/LCY/PAR, LYS/STR/LYS, NCE/STR/NCE

Looking at this, it seems that you cannot get a ZED fare on ANY AF flights. The codeshare info seems to cover all the AF flying inside of Europe. Could that be true or does this just all apply to Baggage? ESC is no help (again).

Has anyone gotten a ZED fare on AF from CDG to points inside Europe?

Thanks!

Need someone to do some digging and verify this:

Some folks at ASA had a meeting with some folks at Delta and some info came out that if the FAA imposes the restriction on flight time and duty day, that Delta would immediately need 1400 more pilots!!!!!

I guess it restricts the amount of legs per day!?!?

Anyone Anyone Bueler Bueler??

Restricts the number of legs? Wouldnt that hurt the regionals alot more? The new rules will definitely require more pilots regardless and the more the better!!

I would think that even if it was true the real question would be how soon would airlines have to comply. One would think that it would be over the course of a year minimum, as immediate compliance would not be feasible. Although I wouldn't mind it.
