See, that's what I like too.... I'd rather something just be told to me black and white even if it's something I don't like vs. having to wade through the drama and the he said she said what side do I believe to figure out what goes on behind the curtain.

Contrary to popular internet belief, we do have LEC reps that actually get to hear things and speak their opinions on them. And sometimes the dictator actually listens (well, because he has to).

Exactly! I dont understand why they would be mad....I mean they get to fly a new and more "advanced" airplane, and get paid more to do it. I highly doubt that the pilots at the base from where these buses are coming from are going to follow them to the cluster that is NY JUST to stay on the airplane. You never know but I doubt it. Why would they? To have to cover three airports?

I switched to the DAL system too. It took some getting used to, but I did.

Why? because I was not the one making the decisions.

If you want it changed, fight for it! I mean that. I will be happy to learn whatever they throw out way.......

Nu, I get the double check stuff. We have it on AWABS as it states what release it is, but it still get dorked up. That is why, even though we are smart, we reduce the amount of crap that comes in to the flight deck.

I say three copies of the Data Block, Great. Do it.

Also, Nu, If I need the release right now when the CA is loading the box, I have always had it thrown my way to get whatever is so important done.

Also, it is thrown at my when they are done programing the box, so I verify that the garbage they typed in is the garbage that we want. We also do it against the clearance.

There is some sort of weird logic to it, and it seems to work.

(I much prefer V1, Vr, V2 but V1 Rotate works too, and again, I will not complain about it)

Bingo, our confidence check is on the final WDR. It has the latest and greatest release number as well any further MELs that may have accumulated. No need for release 4 amendment 5....

I'm a HUGE crosschecker. If the captain is loading the flightplan, there's other stuff I can be doing while he's got the paperwork.... like hunting down the elusive gray trashbags.

The gray trash bags are full of snacks sitting next to the FA's suitcase.
