Throwing wild accusations around is like me walking into your cockpit and saying you are a **** poor pilot all b/c I had a bad experience in the previous leg of my trip.

You need a history lesson on where scope was conceded and by which MEC.
I do not like scope concessions any more than the next guy. I have to tell you that if the regional world is banking their career on another sale, they will be sorely disappointed. If you saw the way these DCI contracts are written, you would be updating your log books.

Delta actually has already done an agreement of the future. A few years ago they did a pro-rate at risk contract with ExpressJet for DCI flying out of LAX. XE was responsible for their own fuel, & if the route made $$$ so did XE. But if the route lost $$$, so did ExpressJet.
Needless to say, the agreement was mutually terminated in less then 2 years. The regional gravy train is reaching the end of the tracks.
Yup. It's going to get real ugly for the regionals. If people thought they were undercutting now, just wait. Why do you think Bedford is steering RAH to the road of independence?(Although I hope they blow a tire & run off into the canyon exploding on impact)

At risk flying will destroy the regionals. Airlines like ASA are trying to implement PBS just to get them close to their DOS+5 contractual resets. This year will prove very interesting for those that are up against that.

Buried in the press release for the RAH C series order is the exclusive rights to all GTF warranty service rights to RAH for the next 15 years. If Boeing and Airbus put that thing on their next gen airplanes RAH will be sitting pretty. This is the same reason nwa bought the 787, it was a crap airplane but they were going for the exclusive maintenance rights for the plane, funny how when that deal fell through the plane was shelved for 777s.

RAH is not known for their mtc as it is outsourced, so it will just be a shell game.
