Last I checked, Delta is still here. But... OK... enlighten us all as to your point. You have fired the first salvo by saying that it is "Stockholm Syndrome" if we as employees help out the company by writing letters requesting DAL get some of the slots into HND. You are one of Keenster's minions that believe EVERTHING the company does is bad, and OBVIOUSLY has those ramifications of ending any QOL as we all know it, or at a minumum never adding any... So.. I gather it is your contention that anything the company does to grow or change is obviously messing with some perfect formula that NWA had wrt the golden Pacific. THAT is exactly why PAA and EAL and _______ are no longer with us. But that is a good cobra strategy I guess.
Oh, and 2 things: There is no "e" in funny, and DAL (prior to the merger) knew more about Europe and Africa than NWA did, so..

I had a federal jury summons a couple of years ago for a whole month. Planned to go, notified the CP office, they requested a copy of the summons. Couple of weeks later, get a letter from the feds saying I was released from jury duty. Have a feeling Ma Delta had something to do with it.

Not thinking what I was saying while taxiing into spot G on ramp six I may have said......"Deice, it's ship XXX pulling into the G spot" DOH!!!!! My face went bright red and my captain and jumpseater just about wet themselves with laughter.

Yep, DC, lots o info on the DAL net. They give what they can to their employees. I was impressed that it was there too. Just another way to keep yourself informed.
Download the Excel files and go though them. All very impressive. It will give you a glimpse in to the complexity of this operation.
