Really? No politics on this thread? We bash management, we bash the union, we bash each other, we bash MEC leaders, we bash governmental organizations, and no politics on this thread? C'mon Shiz, you're better then that.

Seems to me you might be a little thin-skinned. I didn't suggest any specific party. I didn't even suggest a person. I suggested an address.

Lighten up.

Under the theory that DCI is cheaper, the 777/744 should be flown there. That only works to a certain degree. I think everyone can agree on that.

I beleive the 76 seat flying may have the economics to be flown here, what we are willing to pay for that right needs to be decided by the pilot group.

The same could be said of ANY size plane...Why are some "economical" at the "mainline" while others aren't? Why is 76 seats "economical", but 70 seats isn't?...

If anything, type is more important than seats for determining economic viability..

Joe, you bait is not something I am going to bite on tonight. If you would work within the system and not against it, maybe you could see the numbers that many are looking at.

If you read all of the posts on here, you would see the argument to what you are asking.

If I am bored tomorrow I may type some of it again. We all know we all WANT all the flying here. It comes down to cost of the operation and cost of buying it back. There are ways to make the company want to return it to mainline as well. Those provide less cost to the pilot group.

Yeah, really. We do bash those entities, those topics won't get a thread locked. Oh, and "better then what" may I ask????

There are some that would choose to engage that comment in a "personal way" and I just wanted to make sure that it didn't head down that road.

Not one to be too serious. You most certainly mistake my personal/political views, as my "preference" last time around was a short, goofy-looking old guy from Texas who doesn't like the Fed but has solid principles.

BTW, how can I find out what books you've written, I'm always interested in a good read.
