Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Every once in a while, Bar does this knee-jerk shot at NWA, then comes up with his "super seniority" nonsense. Then he tries to fix it by saying, that all NWA guys are great dudes.
Thus the concern over being bipolar.

It's nice to get a paycheck of $0. I'm on family leave right now, but I still flew two trips and had vacation in January. I should get paid almost 55 hours. Is there something in the contract saying I don't get a regular check in my situation? What happened to $1300?
Check back a few pages and it was explained. That 1300 dollars is "advance pay."
That is part of the pain of converting to the advance pay system... the first one you get will be nothing or next to nothing. Everyone at DL goes through that once, either out of new hire training or for you guys after converting to our pay system. You'll get an extra check after you retire, as they say.

It's an oddity... but it is what it is.

You would think that both side know that number and we could get a contract within a few short months. Let's see if we are really just big happy family.

well johnso,
since you've been gone the red eye's have increased substantially out of vegas and LA. You'll only get maybe 2 short call days a month. You'll fly everyday and still only manage to show up at the end of the month with 65 hours credit time. The schedulers use the raw score system perfectly. 50+ reserve dudes with 65 credit hours for the month.....ugh.. At least we get per diem.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
I'm moving up to brighton Mi myself so I'm quite happy about living in base finally.

Call up the CPSC.... they will explain the concept much more eloquently than I can.
It doesn't seem right, but it is a correct calculation.

The irony is that requires working with mgmt to come up with something that is mutually agreeable and competitive with our peers.
Like I've said... it's an extremely delicate balancing act... too much chest pounding and you just look like a bunch of monkeys bouncing up and down and getting nothing done.
Too much cooperation and you look like you've been bent over, rode hard, and not even gotten breakfast out of the ordeal.
