Since linking to pics seems fashionable (of the side/underboob variety, anyway), here's a nice little chart that shows how the US government makes sure no passengers with a serious communicable disease (like, say, TB) gets on your airplane:
(post in reference to the TB infected patient who sailed through the TSA checkpoint to fly on a US Airways flight despite being on a CDC generated DNB list. TB patient flies to SFO despite air travel ban)

If we hire in the near future. Does anyone have any pull from ASA back in the day to get this Jake the bachelor an interview. Wife likes the show. Think it would be a good pr for Delta. I think Jake would rather fly a widebody one day than a 73 his whole life.
I think he is addicted to this forum. I agree that there is great info to share. But there is also slot of bs on here. It is kind of sad to think y'all could be at chucky cheese or doing your wife but your here on a forum. Hopefully your only on here when your on the road.
For those who aren't... busy... Top Gun (1986) - Trivia
I wonder what part is burning there? Grammar? MD88 limitations? 767 callouts- unfortunately not as the words LNAV occasionally pops up at 400'. ERJ limitations? Dumped. Brasilia systems? Never had a clue as to how that thing worked anyways- just like the engineers. I think I know what caught on fire, short term memory. I can't figure out where I put my coke zero about an hour ago or what my wife said about Valentines Day and a baby sitter, that surely burned because I have no clue and don't know if I should ask.
Dare you to put that in a bus shed in the parking lot.

Bar, you made Delta's stock fall today. You need to apologize.

F-NWA pilots are being reinstated as a result of pull & plug and super seniority. You got your retirements up front, enjoy. F-DAL are falling faster than crap off a Camel. Ain't your fault and no hard feelings.
This week the DOW broke hard off its ten month trend line and everything is headed lower, oil, metals and currency. There is no place to hide. Those are the numbers, not the happy talk in the news about US productivity which was just a blip to build inventories.
When you look at the economy, you can't read the news. Look at the numbers... and I just posted because I had to share my awesome manstash with you. If ever I might decide to run for ALPA office, I need to get the mustache credentials out there.

Bar;
Good point on the economy-the recovery cant happen with 10-17 percent unemployment.
The talking heads cant ever get it right they have skin in the game. I have downside support in the 6500 range and am hedged on that with an etf FAZ (not advice, check it out, dyodd)
commodities are down due to dollar strength vs yen euro pound. silver etf AGQ is in super volitility mode and should make a turn north in about a week auto sell at 65 is set already - we'll see tho because its always succeptible to emotional speculation. no advice intended just a solid hedge against the cliff.
I'm really thinking about it! What's your phone number ftb? I'll put in the little clip off things with that... If that doesnt work, I've got ACL's and superpilot's instead. As far as where I found it, it's the internet. EVERYTHING is on there.
In regards to the economy... I'm watching the numbers here, and I see a pause or correction if you will, not a full on dump. Like bar, I'm a numbers guy and I don't buy into the other crap. Unemployment does have to come back out of the crapper a bit more for better recovery.
Who's with me to start a full on marketing campaign for the cat carrier??
So for DAL cargo... anyone see a need for these?

And does the unemployment numbers count astronauts this week?
Well, I think the economy will either improve in the summer (highly unlikely) or improve majorily in the fall, say around November. Thats my bet.

Nothing to fire away at slow. I understand your position. My position is that we as pilots do not control profitablility. Our only relevance to the profit equation is cost. All other aspects of the profit equation is controlled by management. No matter what we give away on the pilot's cost side, it can be undone by one fare sale decided by management.
We must demand an industry leading contract. Even if it is just 1 percent higher than Southwest, it must be the minimum that we will accept. If management needs below industry pilot costs in order to compete profitably, that is an illustration of management ineffectiveness - and thus, not our problem.

+1 yea Carl, you go girl!
Problem is that C2k12 will come, people will get all fired up, DALPA will sell us on why we have to accept a mediocre contract, we will approve it, then everyone gets ****ed for another 4-6 years.

80 slight correction now, bigger one later if the jobs do not come back. A jobless recovery is like fiat money.
