Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Not a very good guess though. AAI stock has been up at $20 and down to $2.0 over the years. Difficult to explain really. Much like DAL stock. If you really could explain it you wouldn't be wondering when you'll crack $ 80K.

At NATCO....errrr....I mean the MSP training center & the 787 sim is being put on a flatbed. Hole in the wall, empty sim bay.

So, how come we have hiring rumors with the above stated?
How many CVG ER guys will down bid and how many will hit I75 north for DTW or commute to ___? That's the question.

My first 727 landing as a new copilot was before ACARS, so we had to keep track of our block times for the aircraft logbook. After the 9G landing, the Captain asked the Second Officer if he got the landing time. The Second Officer said: "yeah, it's right there where the clocks stopped."

The reference point for my statement is two squadron buddies hired at each company in the late 90s. One was furloughed twice, received no longevity increases while furloughed, and saw the writing on the wall with respect to the bottom part of the list with the Compass agreement. Very few of his class are still on the seniority list. You may say that was management, but the DL was facing the same challenges. On the good side, senior members kept their hard earned retirements.
The guy at the other company saw his group fight for longevity pay and saw some members (deadzoners) endure huge sacrifices that they'll never recover from. He realized the entire time his group was going out of it's way to spread the pain as equally as possible many times going out of it's way to take care of the most vulnerable members.
We've sat in a little cocoon here at DL but I think we have to remember the combined group includes many who have spent a career fighting their fellow pilots. I'd like to see as unified a group as possible. When you label a major portion of a group as weak it begs the question, what's your agenda?

I didn't read any antimosity in my post either. Just saying one airline is status quo yet slightly profitable and one is not profitable but trying to take over the world. The latters stock initially went up while the profitable one did not. That's it, period. The analogy? One is a 23 year old down at the local best buy who has a job, is content, makes money, not really trying to go anywhere. The other guy went to college and is driven to network, take risks and so on. Guess who people want to take a bet on. But I guess a drive by poster was excited to be offended, my bet is if I push the right buttons he'll post again by days end but why bother?*

I guess Crew Planning had a very optimistic but un-attainable plan for training.
My training and conversion got pushed back by 5 mos.
