Anyone who owns their own home and a rental knows how easy it is to hide the money. On the scale of accounting that Delta works with its unimaginable.

As my grandpa told me one time when he pointed out a hottie and I said she was out of my league. He said, let women figure out why they wont screw you, don't do it for them.

Same rule applies to management. We don't need to screw ourselves, let management try.

Sick leave is just one component of our compensation package, but it is costed just as medical benefits, retirement, pay, and rules/rigs are costed.
So should ALPA, being that their members hold a considerable amount of stock, suggest to management that their performance is out of line with the compensation, sick leave and pension that they receive? All I'm saying Slow is that it works both ways...I also want our company to be successfull and profitable, but Delta is its employees...not the guys and girls that blow in for a few years, pump sunshine up our backside than leave with a "Golden Parachute." Than when they do depart...they make the excuse "this airline business is a tough business, and the current, past, future enviorment does not support a profit model.

Actually not. It was very poorly played. The Vikes had 500 yards of offense and 5 turnovers?! Two in the redzone? Both teams were playing not to lose. I hate the Vikings (because I heart the Packers) but this was not a good lead-in game to the Super Bowl. Actually, you could tell both teams were rusty.

Sorry to jump into this catfight but is your sick leave account a "sick" leave account or a personal time off account. Seems to me that is the salient point.
