Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Does that give him the right to blanket attacks on other people especially when he is sooooo wrong? I'd never call another poster here "ill-informed, puffed up and arrogant", at least not in the same post, although I can think of one or two I'd like to. I respect your opinion but all I've seen from him lately are attacks on Moak or anyone else who doesn't think exactly the way he does.
"Sorry guys, in my attempt to talk about the company trying to bash the FA's, I kind of fell back on those old pre-merger days where we kept saying NWA is shrinking into oblivion, while DAL is buying an all new fleet. Really both sides were and are shrinking some and growing some. I'll do better next time.
And Carl, you're the coolest!"
Now was THAT so hard.

Sheesh - I have to do everything around here.
Everyone who had a number on either list was integrated on the merged seniority list. All newcomers are just that and will be at the bottom

Some people are naturally divisive, love to concentrate on the differences and point out the negatives. Luckily we have the smart ones who know how to bring a group with widely divergent interests together. Those will be the people who help us achieve Restoration+ 2012.

Move on for the better.
If all the ways of doing business in the curent DAL contract were superior to the ways of doing business under the old NWA contact, then I would happily move on. Just a small point, DAL-N guys have seen both sides of the coin so we may have some valid points that might help improve things for everyone in the future. Just for the record, the IT side of DAL is really really bad and we could get schedule and flight logs on 1 page that you have to go to about 4 different places to get and get a pile of pages to duplicate what you culd get on one page. Just one example. So it might be worth having an open mind to some of the ideas that the north guys can bring to the table, it might just make your life better. I for one hope to improve the contract on the next go around AND AM REALLY TIRED OF THE HOLYER THAN THOU ATTITUDE THAT THE ONLY WAY IS THE DAL WAY AND SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP. That is not meant to be offensive to anyone, I just want to make things better. Good luck to us all.

How could anyone possibly be offended by that? Thanks for making things better.
If you have lurked you have seen what I think. This deal of course needs to be structured correctly for us the pilots, and it will have to be structured a lot differently than the Air France agreement. If they opt to cut their international and provide the regional/domestic lift for the Sky Team we will need to have the deal structured so that we stand to be protected by a change of business plan by JAL. I foresee the corporation making that happen with JAL and us with our company.
That said, it is of tremendous benefit for the airline and eventually us to gain this deal. Pooling the Asian traffic in to SkyTeam is very important. Japan is the second largest economy in the world. They are estimating a 400 million dollar gain got JAL, I bet it is double that at a min for us. We will see some added flying. I often wonder if we will supplement some of their Latin America flying as well. s I have stated, this flying will cost fellow pilots jobs. Keep that in mind.
There is a plan with JAL and one without. Without is more risky since the Fifth Freedom rights will be nullified when the US ratifies Open-Skies. This deal becomes necessary. Without it, we need to find a way to keep Asia a significant part of Sky Team and doing so will require a large capital expenditure with great risk.
I do believe that we will gain JAL, and with it a very important piece of our global network.

Not worth it. You guys clean up your own mess.
Is this the right room for an argument?
