AE are run first not last. If you have a AE and are going to get a displacement if the AE can be awarded that is what you get not the MD. That is why as a general rule if you are on a category that is going away you want a blank AE and VD page and only should have entries on the MD page.
Can't remember the ship numbers (and if we even still have them) but a few of our -88's originally came to us as steam guage MD83's and we converted them to glass.
JAL Agrees Tie-up Deal With Delta
OK looks like somebody got this out three pages ago. As you were...
JAL Agrees Tie-up Deal With Delta: Report - ABC News
TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan Airlines (JAL) has agreed on a tie-up with Delta Air Lines that will mean JAL joins the SkyTeam airline alliance, dropping its membership of the Oneworld alliance, a Japanese newspaper said on Saturday.
JAL and Delta agreed the deal in Tokyo on Friday, the Yomiuri newspaper said, and plan to complete the switch by April 2011.
As JAL heads for bankruptcy, Delta and American Airlines have been courting it with rival offers of financial aid, eager to gain access to routes to fast-growing Asian markets and to get a stronger foothold in Japan.
Japan's state-backed Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corp of Japan (ETIC) has estimated that an alliance with Delta would give JAL an annual benefit of 17.2 billion yen ($189 million), three times more than expanded ties with American would offer.
Delta will continue to discuss with ETIC how much it will invest in JAL, the Yomiuri said. The two companies will apply to the U.S. government for anti-trust immunity by mid-February, the newspaper said.

HC at La Tech I believe. He was the recruiting guy at LSU under Miles for a few years... got 2 number 1 classes while he was there, or so I´ve heard. If that is true, this might be good news for the volnation. He's also Vince Dooley's son.. former AD at UGA.. back in the day. There will be a lot of dust to settle before we know how this choice is.
Soprts radio has more morons than the CBS evening news...
