The fight isn't that bad for us. Heard recently from a marketing VP that Virgin has recently scaled back their N/S growth and redeploying E/W in search of new opportunity and better yields against United and JBLU.

Good luck with that...

Don't remember if this has been brought up yet but what's the general concensus about the Mesa bankruptcy? Is it good, bad, or indifferent for Delta?

Bingo.. they are contract pilots that don't even work for JAL.

It's nice seeing an AS guy chime in...would be interesting to get more of the others' perspectives. I'd like to see their logic on what they feel about fences and how the SLI should be done (if it comes to that) and why.

Congrats my brother... ya'll looked good tonight. Since I don't know anybody from Tech, I was pullin' for the Hawks...

Buzz, in exchange for ALPA's agreement to permit Quito, you and I get to benefit every time we step into a -700 (a very nice airplane, BTW), whether we ever fly to Quito or not. The quid for Quito was bringing the -700 rate up to the -800 rate; about a $15/hr raise for A and $10 for B. With the expectation of many more -700s in the future, I view this as a good deal for us.
