Umm...Canada and Mexico doesn't count. Delta pilots don't even get international override for those flights. For the record, I do not care about seniority lists that much because I cannot control them. I am happy with my current status as long as I am employed. I wouldn't mind being a line holder though. Life is good.

Gents,
Any ideas on what the MSP88 flying is going to be like? Something between existing A320 and DC9?
Also it should be MD90 qualified cat, right?
But will fly both?
Thx

The former DAL/NWA merger committees could not agree on a seniority list. They agreed to submit it to binding arbitration under a 3 man panel. The panel issued an award. In that award were conditions and restrictions, including fences. The MEC could no more eliminate the fences than it could move the seniority numbers of the DC-9 pilots and place them at the bottom of the list.
Any merger/SLI award differences and disagreements are not handled by the MEC. They are handled by the now independent pre-merger pilot group's designated merger representatives. They are funded from their own sources (pre-merger assessments). They make their own decisions. They each have their own respective legal counsel. The MEC has no input into their independent processes with the 3 arbitrators in the interpretation of the binding SLI and its conditions and restrictions.
One would think you would have learned from the Red and Green show...and your backhanded slam intimating "self interest" among the MEC is reprehensible.
So I guess you believe that it's wrong for the A319/A320 to be paid the same, even though one has substantially greater capacity than the other while the other has substantially greater range. Same true for the 737-700/800. DC-9-30/40/50? Btw, CAL pays 767-400's and 777's the same...Cathay Pacific pays A330/40, B747, and B777 the same...
Tonight on the Clamp show...
Ferd tells all about Saipan bars and um....massage parlors.
ACL describes exactly what airplanes are going to go where with the JV...and predicts by exact numbers the way the Alaska SLI would go.
ftb returns with his musings on life, love, and the delta way.
and super will continue to attempt to find the exact maximum limit of boobie that can be shown before he gets and infraction.
See you there.... back to my coffin before I arise to rule the night.

I think for the midnight hour your avatar should reflect that the Clamp Show is on.

Two ?'s,
Has anyone actually read the marketing agreement between DL and AS? Have heard there is a "first right of refusal" in it with regards to ownership but have not read it myself, anyone know?
Secondly, why is the implied new training hotel apparently secret info? The mention of cookies leads me to one chain of hotels but obviously do not know for sure. Just curious!!
Wish I could get in on the Clamp show, sounds like fun!!!!!
