I wish I could help, but I honestly don't know. Sorry.
I had a feeling someone would recognize it... Thanks for trying though, I will dig in to it and report my findings.

Galdangit. You reminded me that I forgot to send in a per diem expense report for my last CQ. Does anyone know if the New Delta requires these or is it auomatically paid?

I hope they accept my late, post BP5 form.

I was told that the only thing we can claim is perdiem expenses. Because the system for some reason doesn't automatically pay us perdiem in training, they set this thing up. We have to manually tell the system what our begining duty time and ending duty time was for all training events. We then get paid the $2/hr perdiem. If you don't put that in, you will not get paid per diem for training events!! Other than the perdiem, I don't think they re-imburse us for anything else. Another fine feature of Delta's extremely advanced computer system.

You get per diem for the whole time you're in ATL or MSP, right?

Damn, I didn't know that. I don't think I've done that ever. I wonder if I can go back and claim some?

Yes, they will retro your p/d. I've put in request 60 days past my last cq, and it'll be included on your next 15th paycheck.

When you input the expense, you'll need to input the location of the training, time you depart from home, and what time you arrive back home, so they'll calculate your p/d accordingly.

You aren't the only who doesn't know this, and until this year, you didn't get the popup screen on DBMS asking for your expenses. I got it this year about 2 months after CQ and asked the guy I was flying with what it was for and he looked at me like I was stupid. I was looking back at him just as dumbfounded that we actually had to do this. Since I didn't do it for my first two CQ's, I submitted all of them and they only paid me for the one this year. I guess if it's over a year old, no money for you.

We are in the same boat there Buzz. Now we have to find out if we can claim for all previous training events, could be a nice bonus...

Yep as long as it shown as a duty period on your schedule. If you have a few days off and you elect to stick around, I don't think they pay us per diem for that.
