The Delta pilots who say things like: "DOH means nothing", and "DOH will not happen here", and "Your NWA DOH means nothing in this merger" don't understand what arbitration means. The Delta pilots who say they hope it doesn't go DOH - do understand what it means.
I don't even know what this statement has to do with anything. Arbitration means that you and I aren't in charge. That's not my definition or US East's definition, it is THE definition. Thus pilots who proclaim what WILL happen, don't get it.
You mean other than the fact that NWA/Republic went straight Date of Hire?

Dude you have either 1) WAY too much time off and/or 2) Very long layovers at hotels with free internet.
Bottom line is PPL, say bye, bye, NWA and hug the widget. Work out the differences life is too short.
Oh yea, just to add fuel to your inferno, every news release I saw said "Delta completes deal to acquire Northwest Airlines" or something like it.
You guys should shift your efforts toward good PR so as to kick the stock price up.

There is no place to go look at the different proposed lists. They weren't supposed to be disseminated in the first place. The only copies are the ones getting emailed around. The problem is that the Delta list was passed around with sensitive personal information on it.

On the second point, it seems your compadres are really hot over it being termed a MERGER and not the other thing. As far as the SLI goes, why are we all wraped arround the axles over something we cannot control. Call your reps rather than post on this forum. I'd call mine but they're about as usefull as tits on a bull.

Now, with that said I don't really care what we call it. Just tell your young guys that an acquisition doesn't allow you to dictate a list (yes, I've had a guy tell me that in a Starbucks line).
