ER's in CVG will only stay if all of the 767 guys go to it.

It is I am not arguing that it will be on the AE. It is just a question of if they keep it or pull the bid.

Does anyone have a educated guess as to when this mysterious AE will materialize?

All of us thought this week. That is what we were told. (Lat minute tweaks)

I have given up calling over there and trying to see what they are waiting for. I know that there are a few things that are close to being launched. Maybe they just decided to wait for those. They are big enough to do that.

I think they said they were going to wait until the SLI was over with and both sides were happy, thrilled, and wholeheartedly excited about the outcome as well as working with their professional counterparts.

I.E. The AE will be delayed indefinitely

Default Code A Phone Sep 5

From Code A Phone on Sep 5:
Next Advance Entitlement Scheduled for October

Finally this week, as many of you are aware, we had originally planned for the next Advance Entitlement bid to be posted in August. However, network is finalizing our summer ’09 plan and with final budget analysis being completed as well, it was decided to combine our late summer and fall bids in a larger Advance Entitlement rather than post two smaller bids. This should provide more opportunities sooner as well. We are currently planning to post an Advance Entitlement bid in the first half October. We will keep you posted.
Apparently not. It's unfortunate we're not seeing an AE in the first half of October as we were led to believe. I for one would appreciate more coming from leadership as to what we can expect rather than having only rumor to go on from those more in the know. (But I'll take what I can get )

I probably don't know the PWA well enough, but didn't see that it was written that way (i.e. a restriction on AE being posted every month).

While I tend to agree with you, I would rather have them postpone the bid so they get it right. With as much postponing as they have done, maybe they should just wait until Dec so we can see how this SLI deal, the election, and the economy are doing.

I agree 100%! 777s and 737s are delayed b/c of the strike, so what is the rush?
