As a penance to newKnow, ACL65, and everyone else I PO'd while whining about this displacement, ACL assigned an APC version of writing on the chalkboard:

(1) This punishment is not boring and pointless
(2) I will not aim for the head
(3) I do not have the authority to fire pilots with "Delta Pilot Standards" lanyards, Crew Schedulers, Moderators, or guys with long sleeved shirts and ear plugs
(4) I will not teach Flight Attendants to fly
(5) I will not cut corners
(6) " "" "" "" ""
(7) " "" "" "" ""
(8) I will not write "Delta is hiring" just to excite Regional Pilots
(9) I will not write "Delta scope sinks" just to excite Delta pilots
(10) sʞɔıɹʇ pɹɐoq qǝʍ ʎ11ıs ɟɟo ʍoɥs ʇou 11ıʍ ı
(11) and I'll stop carping about the merger, displacement & juniority

Hey Bar,

It is ok, everyone goes through the stages and need an outlet, however, are you sure you can't do something about those that wear the "Delta Pilot Standards" lanyard?

Nice Bar, now write down on the chalk board: "This merger is good for me." 100 times.

But that is not exactly what I told you
I like
3, 8, 9, and 10

Keep doing 11, just do not quit over it, channel that angst towards a better commuter policy and relocation packages.

Most of those guys are awesome. I have only run in to two or three that "wear it with pride."

BTW, Bar;

It is O.K. to shoot for the head, just make sure that you are aiming at the correct target!

I know and agree. 99% of the ones I have met seem like great people. I just found it funny as it pertains to those 1 percenters because some of them like to let you know where they are in the pecking order (and they usually inflate their position) and this is not a DAL thing as it can pertain to any airline.

Trust me, I am a huge supporter of training.

Yep, going in to my third training even in 2.5 years this weekend, and am sure I will be in a fourth in a month or two.....

Training is fun for all!

How do I get one of those lanyards?

And if I wear the lanyard, do I need the hat?

<snif, snif> Outstanding Bar! I feel like giving you a big manhug. Ok, wait. Maybe I can just buy you a few rounds of beers. Hell, I'll buy all night AND, if you do get bumped, try to find ways for you to get back for where you want to be, ATL. You ever think about becoming a duty pilot for a year or two?
