But, you remind me of a discussion I had with a union guy before the merger and before Age 65 hit. He told me that with the amount of retirements we had coming up and other stuff going on, that guys in our seniority could possibly be 330 captains in 6-7 years. Instead of thinking, "Wow. I could be a 330 captain" I thought "Great. I could hold a block on the 757 then!"
No Fi Fi for me. (No offense Airbus guys)

I had our PMI on the jumpseat last night on the way to MSP. He was going there to sign the OPs Specs. He said it was done and the computer is set to show it on Dec 31. I also never realized that by Delta getting it done before 2010 rolls in, it saves a ton of money on taxes. something about getting a Single entity certificate. This apparently was the plan all along. Anyway, congratz to us!!
By the way..our PMI is one of the coolest feds I have ever met.
